here is the info we know of the mountain sharks

mountain sharks are a species that evolved in the ice high up in the mountains, and escaped the ice during the warmer months when the ice thawed, they normally wear hoodies or ponchos to keep from getting frozen again but often wear booty shorts/shorts to have movement on the slopes snow boarding and snow diving, being able to dive into the snow (somewhat like scrouge mcduck in his money bin) often also wearing bright safety harnesses over their clothes for avalanche safety do to there coloration looking so much like there environment , some having scars that look like they are just markings, often looking like blotches, stars, or slashes. they normally live in abandoned snow lodge resorts and cabins which is often where they find there clothing and gear. mountain sharks are a evolved prehistoric sharks that were frozen in ice when the mountains were still submerged in water and some how they evolved while in the ice as it slowly melted growing legs, fur, ears, and paw pads. now we don't know what type of sharks they were before they evolved unfortunately but we can assume they were possibly some of the ancestors of the lemon, tiger, or banded sharks, by their coloration and tails, however there coloration has changed over time. coloration ~~~~~ while there coloration now a days look totally different from when they first emerged from the ice, the colorations of the ones we see today are normally brown, blue, teals, greens, white, beige, and blacks, these colorations are different for each mountain shark having different belly colors, spots or strips, and some markings that could have been the result of them being hunted and in their escape being frozen and the combination of being injured and healing while frozen resulting in scar tissue regrowing fur in a different color, the shape the scar takes however is the result of the brute force of whatever caused the injury and the muscle trauma the weapon caused. their eye coloration is normally a brown, purple or green iris color with a white sclera. hunted and hibernation ~~~~~~ now we are unsure of the reasons of why they would have been hunted but it may have been for there fur or because their skill to easily navigate the snowy habitat with ease. from what we have gathered they can survive being frozen multiple times because of how there DNA changed during the first freeze it basically made it so that if they are frozen or trapped in ice they go into a hibernation like state which overtime changed there coloration, nowadays that doesn't happen as often do to safety harness and neon safety markers to make it easier to find them after avalanches, however this does not make mountain sharks immortal, from talking to some of their elders there has been times they didn't survive there injuries from hunters past, and during some past avalanches some mountain sharks never came back, some remains being found at bottoms of cliffs that not even the heaviest snow the night before could break the fall of. now you may be asking is it possible for a mountain to fall asleep into hibernation while doing their daily things if there's snow outside and the answer to that is yes and no, mountain sharks cant just go into hibernation because there's snow, however if the temperature gets below -10*f (-23.333333*c) and are exposed to the temperature for long periods of time it will send them into hibernation. skills and mannerisms ~~~~~~ the name mountain shark isn't just because of the fact they came from sharks and evolved to live in the mountains its also because some how they can swim in the snow just like regular sharks as long as the snow is deep and fresh enough, very similarly to scrouge mcduck in his money bin, one of the many things mountain sharks can also do is they sit on there tail fins when they need to sit in one place for long periods in the snow very similarly to the Pallas cats, they tend to make their homes in trees and over time have become really good at snowboarding, and have become very good at search and rescue after avalanches as well as testing snow for avalanche prone areas, clothing and gear ~~~~~~~ mountain sharks didn't start wearing clothes until semi recently, finding that hoodies and ponchos help to hold off the cold for longer and by extension hibernation in order to stay awake longer so its easier for search and rescue as well as other mountain sharks to find them in the case of a avalanche. the gear mountain sharks use is usually harnesses and tail bags, the tail bags often to just hold water bottles, snacks, and med kits, while harnesses are usually bright in color and often neon colors to help with visibility do to mountain sharks colors which often camouflage them more often then not, the harnesses help to make mountain sharks more visible in the cause of a snow storm, avalanche or concussion, they also tend to wear shorts even booty shorts for easy of movement on the slopes, but some also like baggy pants keeping the warmth with the length while also still having movement. current living conditions ~~~~~~ mountain sharks now a days currently are found living in abandoned snow lodges, tree houses, and cabins, with the ones living in lodges tend to have more of a community , while the ones living in cabins and tree houses preferring cliques and smaller found family groups
